Platform for electronic monitoring (EM) on commercial fishing vessels. Data is collected using EM sensor and/or video data that is triggered based on geospatial or sensor cues. Data is transmitted via an encrypted Iridium satellite link. Shipboard video analytics include various triggers such as deck activity level or hatch position, while shoreside video analytics allow for analysis of level of deck or sorting area activity, fish ID and measurement, gear presence/absence detection, and summarize data elements.
