Planet

A fleet of satellites in orbit (130+) that is able to image anywhere on Earth daily at 3m and 72cm resolution. Planet’s SkySat fleet has near-infrared and video capabilities and can transform daily satellite imagery. Imagery can then be run through fully-automated processing. Features also include cloud-based access, speed and scale; and API-first integration and download. Planet has been used for purposes of monitoring maritime areas and open water, and has also been paired with AIS and other maritime datasets (https://www.planet.com/markets/maritime/).
